40TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF THE KITE
Redondo Beach is known for many outdoor events and one of the most popular spring events is the Festival of the Kite. This year marks the 40th anniversary of this free event and it will be held on March 9th from 12pm to 5pm.
As one of the longest-running Kite Festivals in the entire state, many will attend and put their kites into the air. The event is sponsored by the Redondo Pier Association and the Sunshine Kite Company. This event will be more than just a day of flying kites. Entertainment from different types of demonstrations and acts will take the stage, along with plenty of vendors providing food and beverage. The event will happen at 100 Fisherman's Wharf in Redondo Beach at the Redondo Pier. It's a family-friendly event with plenty of fun for everybody.
